Writing fantasy stories was not a beast. Anyone can write fantasy stories. First of all you have to decide what type of fantasy story you are going to write. There are 2 types.
1. Non-Fictional
2. Fictional
Non-Fictional:
Non-Fictional stories are based on real historical events. To write this type of stories you have to research and refer lots of historical books. Like biographies of leaders. You can get some scenes from their biographies. Just use the scene and make it peoples believe. You can add your imaginary things happen on the scene to make it to read longer. At least you have to write more than 2500 words. Peoples love to read this type of stories.
Fictional:
Fictional stories are based on imagination of an author. To write this type of stories you don't need any research or refer (if you don't want). First of all create an outline of your story. Then develop the outline to paragraphs. You can read other authors fantasy stories to get some ideas. My best tip is write on your own. Double check for errors and grammar mistakes. Fantasy stories looks like a medieval war scenery or a dwarf life. You will surely need these things.
- Hero character
- Heroine character
- Villain character
- Ally character
- Castle
- Kingdom
- Empire

Hero:
Describe the hero’s family, profile, skills, interests, etc. Give him a unique name. Hero must be the important character of the story, it’ll make the story look better.
Heroine:
Describe heroine’s family, profile, etc. Give her a unique name. Heroine must enter in the middle of the story, It’ll make the readers of your story more curiosity.
Villain:
Just use one another man as a puppet of the villain to fight in all the scenes with hero. Don’t expose the villain until the climax scene. Just make enter the villain at the climax as a twist in the story.
Ally:
These persons must be the first one who enters the story before the hero. Use these persons to start the story with a chaos situation. Starting with chaos situation will make the readers more interested in the story. Killing these persons in the story was not necessary.
Castle:
The story must have a castle with beautiful structure. Just describe some of the structures of a castle. This place was the important base of the hero or villain.
Kingdom:
Start the story with a kingdom describing its peoples and their passion. Use a unique name for the kingdom. You can use several kingdoms to make fight with other kingdoms, just use this tip to improve your story’s length.
Empire:
Must describe an empire to unite all kingdoms under one emperor. The emperor can be hero or villain it’s your choice. Using emperor as an villain I strongly recommend. As a hero you can only write stories like emperor’s conquest campaign.
Landscape:
Describe the landscape where the scene was happening at. It was recommended to beginners. Using landscapes like forests, mountain sides, foothills make your story look beautiful.
Tradition:
Describe the peoples’ tradition at the beginning of the story. Using jungle tribe’s tradition is highly recommended if you are writing a jungle life stories.
War:
If you are writing military and war stories you need to describe the war scenes of the stories. You can hire freelancer cartoon artist to draw your cartoon scenes. But it will cost you money. Just try to learn how to draw cartoons on your own and try to draw yourself. Draw detailed war scenes to attract the readers of your story. It’s not necessary to add images to your story.
